Little is understood about the technical specifications and operations of Structs platforms and their operational intelligences. What little is known is sourced from limited technical documentation the Structs Conglomerate is contractually obligated to provide to ASC clients in order to maintain  mining rights in ASC space. This limits functional understanding of Structs technology to that which is deployed in Alpha mining operations.

Structs evidently consume significant power during typical operation, though whether this is related to functions of the hardware platforms or the operating intelligence(s) is unknown. While Structs do employ solar power collection and battery storage, and are capable of operating in a limited capacity using only these stores, full functionality requires a significantly more robust energy supply.

This Energy is supplied by Structs Command Ships, sophisticated capital ships that distribute energy to their constituent Structs in a manner similar to the Alpha Relay Web. In addition to their on-board Alpha Drives, which power the Command Ships themselves, Structs Command Ships also act as receivers for the Relay Web, enabling them to receive and distribute Energy sufficient to power an entire colony.
